Morning, at 7:00 your guide and driver will pick you up at the lobby of your accommodation driving to Battambang about 170km within 2h30mn. Battambang is located on the Norwest Side of Cambodia and is the fifth largest province of Cambodia. The province's fertile rice fields have led to a mostly agricultural economy giving rise to the moniker "the Rice Bowl of Cambodia". The province features a range of cultures as well as natural resources. Seventy five percent of the area is jungles and mountains. Arrive Battambang around 10:00am, take the city tour orientation along Steung Sangké River and the colonial buildings including governor’s house. Continue to the striking hilltop temples of Phnom Sampov & Phnom Banan, this massive limestone outcrop is dissected by a number of caves some more accessible than others, with some containing unexpected reminders of Cambodia’s history. Enjoy the bamboo train ride at Phnom Banan to experience how Cambodian farmers creating bamboo train for daily transport.

Lunch break will be at a local restaurant in the city of Battambang where you can try Cambodian foods and your guide will definitely be pleased to offer you good recommendation.

After lunch, the tour will drive around the city to see variety of tropical fruits and after the rainy season farmers plant all kinds of vegetables along the fertile river banks, here you can learn about traditional agriculture and also see the Traditional Khmer Ancient House located in Wat Kor Village most of them built from 1920-1956.
